Nose...during the first days of foal´s life smells him the mare very often to assure herself that it is really her foal. It is the nose which enables her to recognize her foal from the others in the batch because they are often very much alike. Two horses who never met before smell each other and blow to each other´s nostrils. The nose is for the horses something like a multifunctional reading equipment.
