We offer you a short reportage from a romantic place on the former borderline
of Roman Empire, from very picturesque town of Trencin in Slovakia.

We prepared ourselves properly for this event and we selected intensively our horse´s collection which we presented to the not only Slovak audience. We expected a high competition and high level of the whole exhibition and therefore we tried to select the best horses. On our web pages you could find in advance our final selection of four beautiful golden horses which
we presented in Slovakia.

We left our farm with perfectly prepared horses in full condition and power. The journey was very calm and we have to thank to our horses for their positive cooperation during the trip. We arrived to the exhibition center in Trencin on June 27 at 9:00 pm. Despite the fact that we communicated with the organizers only by e-mail or phone, and despite the fact that they have probably never seen akhal-teke horses before, the background for us was made superbly. We took care about the horses after the long journey and tired as well, we welcomed the comfortable beds in a nice hotel chosen for us by our Slovak friends.

The first exhibition day began with sunny weather and the number of visitors coming to the exhibition inspired us to a top performance in our first show scheduled at 1:00 pm. Our show
had to present the akhal - teke horses for the first time in Slovakia, their agility and perfect cooperation with the rider. Very important were also the absolutely original aladjas and golden and silver jewelry which decorated our horses. The other very important part of the show which gave an important accent to the whole impression was the use of our beloved music of famous French diva Dalida and her song Salma Ya Salama (in arabian Welcome) which greeted the Slovak audience and brought the oriental mood to the show.

The show was compiled in order to present the higher dressage level of Dul Dul under the training of Michaela Schimack from the farm St. Leonhard, in the saddle with Magdalena Feldek junior and additional but not unimportant part was the presentation of the perfectly riding mares Agarjanka and Daugava who underlined by a relatively simple choreography the higher level of Dul Dul. Absar was shown on hand.

In the saddle of Agarjanka presented himself the president of DALIDA AKHAL TEKE CZECH Association Mr. Michal Cerveny in an original army uniform. In the saddle of Daugava appeared 11 years old Slovak girl Dominika, a voluntary from the public, which proved the easy riding of the horse. All the riders and horses were in unique line in terms of outfit and decoration with original golden and silver jewelry.

The public acceptance of our show was so huge that the director of the exhibition, Mr. Frantisek Gratz, invited us personally to open the historically first night horse show in Slovakia. Our appearance was perfect and our horses get the opportunity to show their golden glance under the lime-lights accompanying the whole show.

The following day we prepared our horses for a presentation in front of an expert jury. Yet before we started, we get happy about the victory of stallion Daho in the category of full-bred Arabian horses. Daho belongs to the farm of Katerina Kralova and Miroslav Bis, our friends with whom we cooperate in training and sport preparation of our horses.

We put a strong accent to the esthetic harmony of the whole collection and of the demonstrators wearing a combination of black and white with a T-shirt with the logo of our association, white riding breeches and black top-boots. It has been very important for us for the complete impression from the presentation of the akhal - teke breed.

A big surprise was the high evaluation of the full bred stallion Absar who excels with his lovely movement mechanic and fully noble movement of his after-body. We have to remind his magnificent golden colour and charismatic stallion look who remembers his grandfather Lakmus imported by the founder of akhal - teke breed in Czech Republic Mrs. Havlickova from Moscow in 1990. Lakmus became the first horse on her farm from where come also both parents of Absar.

Absar has been evaluated best in the category of non traditional breeds with 7,81 points. This meant the 15th place among all the stallions on the exhibition (over 100 horses). The second place won our mare Agarjanka, full golden colour with a correct and compact body constitution, again with very perfect movement mechanic. The third place went to Daugava with excellent pedigree and original golden daps. The jury has been fascinated by her noble movements. The winner among part bred akhal - teke horses went to the sire Dul Dul. We get a lot of contacts to people interested in covering with both stallions.

Very interesting was the meeting with Mr. Khablliev, Slovak breeder who imported this year a batch of akhal - teke horses from Eisk, Russia and with whom we agreed on further cooperation.

The unexpected break point of the day was the repeated invitation from the exhibition´s orgamizators to perform our show with our horses once more in the afternoon. We accepted the invitation and we were happy to see the standing ovations from the public in the rhythm of Dalida which Michal appreciated and thanked to the people by galloping and saluting around all the stands bringing further applause.

We would like to thank to our whole preparation and realization team consisting of Michal, David, Ra, Magda Sr., Madga Jr., Adela, Libor, parents of Michal, Janko with family, Danka and her family, Robko with his mum.

Window of the president:
Honestly, I have to tell you that I am more than happy about the presentation of the akhal - teke horses as a new non traditional breed in Slovakia and I believe that Dalida will become a regular visitor and participant of this great event which prepared the organizers for us, breeders and lovers of horses in the beautiful atmosphere of Trencin. I hope that this could be also a challenge for other Czech breeders. The cooperation in this direction and the way of presentation of akhal - teke breed is very important for the correct information of the general public.
